I have managed to sign up for a site, but I haven't submitted anything yet. I keep starting an article then feeling like it isn't good enough to submit. Is this common? If I don't post for a few days you'll know that I'm just sitting here staring at a blank word document and trying to psych myself up to write something. I am a 36 year old mother of 3 who has been essentially unemployed for the past 12 months. Luckily I have the DH to handle most of the bills but our family has really taken a loss since I got laid off. I have looked into several work from home jobs over the months and found a lot of scams, and a lot of paying things to do that take forever. Not what I am looking for. I need to be able to make a somewhat predictable amount of money each month. Lately I have been reading blogs and advice from several freelance writers and visiting freelance writer websites. I have decided to give it a try. This is my first blog, and I am at this moment, still unemployed, but as soon as I finish this post, that will change.<br /><br />I am going to sign up at a paying freelance writing site that I found through the Freelance Writer Online site. I emailed the owner of the site a few weeks ago with hundreds of questions and she has been very helpful by emailing me and giving me her recommendations and advice. She even sent me a free copy of her e-book to help me get started. She said that she was willing to do that because she knows that freelance writing is not a scam and that I will be able to make money if I follow the steps outlined in her book.
